Former Heat striker PJ Tucker in the next chapter

Tucker made it official with the Philadelphia 76ers

Former Miami Heat striker PJ Tucker has been an untouchable player during every stage of his NBA hiatus.

The Philadelphia 76ers are no different once Tucker arrives at training camp. The Sixers introduced Tucker as a new location on Wednesday. He has a three-year contract worth $33.2 million.

"We are thrilled to add his drive, toughness, defensive versatility and championship attributes to our list," Sixers coach Daryl Morey said. "PJ wants to bring the NBA title back to Philadelphia and his work ethic and mentality make him a great addition."

Having led the Heat to victory over the Sixers in the second round of the playoffs, he will now look to help Philly compete for the championship. In his only season in Miami, Tucker helped the Heat reach the conference finals. They only lost one win before reaching the NBA Finals.

"This team is good enough to take on anyone in the league, and I'm going to go out there and do whatever I can to help take it to the next level," Tucker said. "Philadelphia fans are screaming for greatness and it's up to us to get to where we want to be."
