LONDON (CNN) Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, Judy O'Devile de Lanverserie de la Reine a London attended the first public appearance of Aveque La Family Royale Dipo Lior Famie de la Ile dos Anos.

Their two children, Archie and Lilipet, accompanied them on the trip, giving the Queen the first chance to meet her granddaughter, who turns one on Saturday. The Lillipet is named after the Queen, who is commonly referred to as a title by her close relatives.


The Sun reported that Queen Elizabeth II sent a car and royal protection officers to pick up the Duke and Duchess from Farnborough Airport and take them to their home in Frogmore Cottage, Windsor on Saturday. A Buckingham Palace spokesman had no comment when contacted by CNN.


Harry and Meghan have spoken about their tensions with some members of the royal family since their sudden departure from the clan in early 2020, including in an interview with Oprah Winfrey last year that briefly led to a royal breakdown.


They returned to the UK to visit the Queen in a secret meeting in April, and Harry attended a memorial service for his late grandfather Prince Philip last year, but he has not joined a royal event since.


Although Thursday's Trooping the Color parade marked the Queen's official birthday, it was also a reveal of the four-day Jubilee Weekend. Festivities will also include Thanksgiving Mass on Friday and a parade on Sunday.
