Joe Alwyn commented that his girlfriend Taylor Swift was awarded an honorary doctorate.
Conversations with Friends star Joe Alwyn has criticized his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, who received an honorary doctorate from New York University.
"It's an incredible honor, it's incredible," Alwyn, 31, said of Swift's achievement when she received her doctorate in fine arts at the university's graduation ceremony on Wednesday.
"Hat and dress for the first time, see you NYU," the Grammy winner shared on Instagram hours before she arrived at Yankee Stadium for the ceremony.
The "All Too Well" singer wore a black hat and purple dress, as she waved to the Bronx crowd as she walked across the field and onto the stage.
"I'd like to thank NYU for making me a doctor, technically speaking, at least on paper," Swift said sarcastically as she spoke.
Swift spoke at New York University's commencement ceremony in 2022.
“Not the kind of doctor you want in an emergency, unless your emergency is you desperately need to hear a song with a catchy hook and a huge recovery bridge section, or in an emergency, you need someone you can name the 50+ cat breeds in which minute ."
NYU in a NYU press release hailed Swift as "one of the most celebrated and productive artists of her generation."
Fast waves for fans at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx.
Because of the pandemic, the classes of 2020, 2021 and 2022 were honored at the ceremony.
The actor has been dating Swift since 2016 and avoided questions about his alleged engagement last month.
It is rumored that the couple are engaged.
“If I had a pound for every time I thought I was told I was engaged, I would have had a lot of coins,” he told the Wall Street Journal in April.
"I mean, the truth is, if the answer was yes, I wouldn't say it, and if the answer was no, I wouldn't."
