Guru da Panda' anime movie to be released nationwide in August

August 13, 2018: Guru da Banda, the story of legendary Sikh hero Banda Singh Bahadar, will hit theaters soon. "Guru Da Banda" is a 3D anime film based on the story of Baba Banda Singh Bahadar. The film was set to be released on August 24, 2018.

After a two-and-a-half-minute promo for Jassi Chana's first animated film about the legendary Baba Banda Sigh Bahadur's story, the filmmaker justifies his choice of subject by saying, "Young India knows very little about the achievements of Panda Singh Bahadur and how he fought for Sikh rights".

The film is based on the life of the great warrior of Sikh history Baba Banda Singh Bahadur and his fight against the Mughal Empire. Banda Singh Bahadur was a Sikh military leader who established the Sikh state with Lohgarh as its capital. Armed with the blessing and authority of Guru Gobind Singh, he reached Khanda at Sonnepat and gathered a fighting force and led the fight against the Mughal Empire. He was the first Sikh military leader to wage an offensive war against the Mughal rulers of India, thus temporarily expanding Sikh territories.

Guru Da Banda is an upcoming Punjabi animated film based on the life of the great warrior in Sikh history, Baba Banda Singh Bahadar. Banda Singh Bahadur established a monastery at Nanded, on the banks of the Godavari River, which he visited in September 1708 and became a disciple of Guru Gobind Singh, who gave him the new name Banda Singh Bahadur after being initiated into the Khalsa. .
